Global Yachting Group
Front end and WordPress development for superyacht service and supply group
Global Yachting Group specialises in the service and supply of some of the world’s most prestigious superyachts. The company required a redesign of their existing site, to promote their business and generate sales. The previous site was static, the new site required content management functionality, they had decided to use WordPress for the CMS platform.
The agency was supplied with a fully responsive custom WordPress theme and a pixel perfect recreation of their Photoshop visuals. I gave a full handover and CMS training prior to publishing the site and now provide regular maintenance and support for the site.
As part of my 4 stage process, each website I build is tailored to the clients needs and requirements. Each site is unique, I never use off the shelf themes. In addition to my standard web development technologies, below are a few of the features found on this website.
Job vacancy board
As part of the specification, a job vacancy board area was created. This allows the client to create a vacancy, complete with job description & attachments. Potential candidates can then apply for a role, and their application will be emailed to the client.
Bespoke AJAX contact form
To enhance sales and usability the site specification / brief required a contact form. I build all my contact forms by hand (I don’t use plugins) which meant I could fully customise the form to the clients needs. For security I included both client and server side validation & processed the form data via AJAX for a more seamless experience.
